Thank-You
Here I want to thank people for who they are and for what they have done for me. So much these people have done has made such a difference in my life.
Some people have influenced me, some helped in more tangible ways.
Most if not all have helped to make my life easier and enjoyable in one way or another.
I am very grateful for the good things in life and even the bad when I have the strength to learn from them, they always have something to teach.
Mum
Where on earth do I start!
There are so many things to thank Mums for! I’ll just mention a few.
First of all, thank you for being there for me 100% all of the time. I know there were times when I was in my teens and mixing with the ‘wrong crowd’ that you must have wondered what you had done to deserve all the trouble! But you were there for me, getting me out of trouble and helping me to get it right the next time.
There is no doubt that you did your very best at all times for me, you always put me first.
You must have sacrificed a lot when I was young. I have fond memories of 102.
Thank you for dragging me up proper!
Thank you for loving me.

Cate
Thank you for helping me through so many times of despair.
Thank you for being so understanding. You, I think, know and understand me better than anyone.
Thank you for your infinite patience, your wonderful love and your tolerance.
Thank you for doing a wonderful job of bringing up our beautiful daughter and thank you for giving me all the space I need.
Thank you for loving me.
Ella
Thank you for giving me my space as well, you don’t know your doing it but you are!
You, I’m sure will grow up to be a wonderful woman, just as your mother is.
Thank you for loving me.
Roy
You have done so much for me over the years.
You, like my family, have been constant, always there to help me.
I thank you for your generosity and support.
I wish I could express myself better!
Thank you for caring.
Dave and Sid
You have been there for me, on occasion, just as my family have.
Two years ago my heart was broken, the pain was indescribable, so I imagine having me around was hard, but you let me stay at your place until I could find the strength to carry on, (as did my Mother). There are many other times you have been supportive and you have helped me in many other ways but that was the time that I often think of when I think of how good to me you have been.
Thank you for loving me.
Garth
Garth, the original Indiana Jones!
Thanks for putting me up at your place when things got a bit too much with Dad, for letting me tear around the bush on your bike and for forgiving me when I got home sick and left you with a VW Beetle to fix!
Above all though, thank you for inspiring me, for being so positive!
David, Nena and family
Thank you for letting me share your beautiful woods!
It is a privilege to do so.
Dad
The one thing I really like that my Dad taught me was to give back something borrowed in better condition than when lent.
Alanis Morissette
Thank you for your incredible music, your lyric’s never fail to move me.
I have learnt so much from you.
Sam, Adi, Rich
And all the other friends that have enriched my life.
Thank you.
Katherine
I want to thank you for being part of my life, even if we were together for only a short time.
I’ve learnt a lot from our relationship, too much of it too late.
But I’m a better person for it, and I thank you.
